1. Saso Puroski V Steve Gumerez (MPD Steve Gumerez)
Bulldog ACT BJC ACT
Steve won by MPD

2. Fiti Asamasaga V Garth (Winner Garth)
Bulldog QBN Tama Tehuna
Great battle from both guys having their first fight, Fiti came out strong and hitting hard. After the 1st round Garth found his reach and begun landing some good clean shots, eventually coming out on top to take the win.

3. Bron Vickers V Jodie Palozzi (Winner UPD Jodie Palozzi)
Bulldog ACT Murdoch’s Workshop Newcastle
The only female fight of the night didn’t disappoint. Jodie started the fight with fast combinations landing and avoiding the grapple from her taller opponent. Bron was strong in the 2nd and stole the round. Jodie coming out with a close win after a tough 3rd round.

4. Steve Bishop V James Dvorscak (Winner UPD James)
Bulldog ACT Phoenix ACT
Another excellent supporting bout, James having to fight smart with his opponent enjoying a slight weight advantage. The Phoenix fighter took the win after 3 rounds.

ISKA 60kg Eastcoast Oriental Rules Title
5. Josh Tonna V Shawn Lin (Winner UPD Josh Tonna)
Bulldog ACT Lightning Lee Gym
These two young charges were having a rematch for a title so both were keen to impress and definitely came to fight hard. Shawn walked forward from the first bell with an aggressive punching style which seemed to have stunned Josh temporarily, patiently Josh found his combinations beginning to work and also landed some long range knees which did enough damage to his more experienced opponent. Josh took the belt after 4 rounds.

6. Michael Van Der Vilst V Brane Zec (Winner Brane Zec KO Rd2)
Tama Tehuna BJC ACT
Both guys came out all guns blazing with an early knock down to Michael, but was soon to be deducted a point for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After recovering from the knock down Brane then returned the 8-count on his opponent who seemed to be struggling to get his momentum back, Michael was stopped by KO.

ISKA 69.5kg Sth Pacific Kickboxing Title
7. Warrick Harrington V Nick Rivera (Winner Nick Rivera TKO Rd2)
Bulldog ACT Lighting Lee Gym
A very classy Nick Rivera was just too technical and experienced for his young and upcoming local opponent on the night, the referee calling a stop to the fight after giving Warrick two 8-count within the 2nd round. A disappointed crowd booing the decision but the safety of the fighter always has to be the top priority.

8. Kim Louden V Gaz Rees (Winner UPD Kim Louden)
Rick Kulu/Supalek Phoenix Gym ACT
Kim Louden again impressed everybody with his strong technique and skill taking the fight on late notice. Gaz was having trouble finding use of his long range and looked to be a little trouble by Kim’s strong grappling style.

ISKA Super Heavyweight Oriental Rules World Title (Winner by vicous KO Ben Edwards)
9. Ben Edwards V Rick Cheek
Bulldog ACT AUS Nth California Fighting Alliance USA
‘Savage’ Rick Cheek started the fight in relaxed fashion moving around well avoiding Bens well-known damaging punches landing a quick combination of his own but taking a few legs kicks as well before Ben erupted, landing a devastating over-hand/right hook that echoed into the crowded and vocal room taking the World Title by knock out!
