Bowman and Kitchen dominate in Cornwall

Julie Kitchen and Darren Bowman stepped up to challenge for ISKA World Championship belts before a capacity hometown crowd at Penzance Leisure Centre in Cornwall, England on the 26th July.
ISKA British Bantamweight Kickboxing Champion Sean Bowman faced Portugal’s Nuno Carriea for the ISKA World Featherweight Full Contact title. These guys wasted no time getting to know each other, trading leather from the first bell. It became obvious that this fight was not going the distance with both men intent on a knock out, Carriea connected first with a solid punch for a second Bowman’s legs buckled and he received a standing count then got straight back into fight. In the third round Bowman went for bust with wave after wave of heavy punches Carreira was rocked almost out on his feet the referee stepped as he was no longer able to defend himself. An impressive TKO win for Bowman.
Julie Kitchen the ISKA Ladies World Champion under Oriental rules challenge for the ladies ISKA World Muaythai title in the welterweight division. Kitchen faced old rival Natalie Fuz from New York USA. It was a rubber stamp match they met twice before with one win each, both girl put on a truly World Class performance. Kitchen was always one step ahead with blistering combinations she controlled the fight to win a unanimous decision and her eight World Championship belt a legend in the making
