Mr. Shunji Ishii has accepted the position as ISKA Director for Japan with immediate effect.
Mr. Shunji Ishii has been involved in the event production and public relations for the K-1 World Grand since 1993. He is a Director of FEG (Fighting Entertainment Group) which promotes K-1 events worldwide
He has a background in Kyokushin Karate going back to the early 1970’s he trained with his brother Master Kazuyoshi Ishii the founder of the K-1 World Grand Prix. He views Martial Arts as the Japanese ancient Bushido exist to raise himself mentally and physically, it should not be used for violence and threatening. It is the most important to respect each other in the competition, and Win or lose is just caused in the process.
On accepting his new position he said I am honored to be the National Director of ISKA for Japan, one of the time-honored organizations. I truly take my responsibilities and duties seriously.

Pristina, Kosovo; November 21st MT Heavy weight World champion Xhavit BAJRAMI defend successfully his title vs. the famous K-1 fighter Freddy KEMAYO in a hard title bout scheduled for five rounds. 
The fight was very close and after the battle the neutral judge from Bosnia and Austria scored a draw 48:48 / 50:48 /46:47 . According the ISKA rules Bajrami kept the title.

Ravenna, Italy; after the resignation of former ISKA ITALY president Mr. Scrocchia we have a new leadership in Italy.
Dott. Giandomenico BELLETTINI is new ISKA ITALY president, Franco MAGNO Vice president. Furthermore Severino MAGNO, Paolo GHERARDI, Tommaso D´ADAMO are managers in the board of directors.
Dott. Bellettini is active in Kick boxing for many Years, he is well know and respected in the martial arts.
ISKA EUROPE welcomes the new Italian team.

Matosinhos city is the capital place of the moment in the kick boxing panorama in Portugal.
After brilliant European championships, the audience want to see live three of the European champions. With the Matosinhos Arena full of persons, many ISKA VIP guests among 1.000 others in the sport hall, the Portugal ISKA president Mr. Cesar Moreira start the show with a gift to govern sport representative. After this great moment, the really show starts with five amateurs fights in low kick rules among the best Portuguese fighters. A great moment for amateur sport with excellent fights.
Following after that is the professional kick boxing moment, with 2 fights between Portuguese and French fighters in Muay Thai rules. The Portuguese fighters show all the high quality and won the both fights. Edson Pina won by KO in the 3rd round and Helder Carvalho won by KO in the 4th round. In a spectacular fight the Portuguese Pedro Sampaio won by points in a K-1 rule fight vs. a French opponent.
Paulo Oliveira was the first current ISKA European champion in the Ring , with the public in ecstasy behind, the French fighter started from the beginning very strong but Oliveira showed experience and came back in the fight. In the second round the high quality of Oliveira boxing make all the difference and send is opponent to canvas after a great uppercut to the jaw. The Champion continued his attacks and after few good punches the French fighter was knocked out. A spectacular victory by KO of Paulo Oliveira in his home town.
In a first Portuguese title fight in full contact – 64,50 Kg of the night, Renato Ferreira return home too after European championship and is opponent Carlos Antonio, a great full contact fighter and boxer. Before the fight everybody saw Renato as favourite but Antonio had a good start. After a very technical fight, the judges made a close point decision and the title belt to Renato Ferreira
In the main event Marisa Pires, an ISKA K-1 and low kick champion fought against Nathalie Fernandes for a national low kick title. Many peoples was surprised why the female title was scheduled as main event but they ladies show in the Ring why the promoter made this decission. The best fight in the night, with two female warriors in a very high level. Marisa Pires had a good start from the beginning until the end of the fight, with great punches and kicks. Nathalie showed a very good performance with her kicks. After a really good fight the audience saw a happy Marisa Pires taking the belt from the main sponsor Cesar Moreira.
After this great success, the Matosinhos Arena is preparing the last 2009 event on December 6th with one national title between European champion Bruno Susano and the Challenger Silverio Ramos in cruiserweight – 88,20Kg in K-1 rules. This show is scheduled for five K-1 fights and 5 MMA fight and it’s also the fifth anniversary’s of Matosinhos Arena.

The ISKA UK Amateur Director Andrew Hennessy and the UK Assistant Amatuer Director Jason Charlesworth have resigned. Their decision was due to the disappointing ISKA Amateur European Championship in Rome and the problems caused by the poor management of the event.
The UK Amateur division organize three tournaments each year, selecting and training a National Team for bi-annual European and World Championships. New Directors will be appointed shortly, they will have the advantage to build on the good work done by Andrew and Jason.
The ISKA European Amateur division is currently being restructured, so the problems in Rome will not be repeated and we can look forward to the ISKA Amateur World Championship in Almeria Spain 2nd -7th November 2010

Pristina, Kosovo; born in Kosovo and living in Switzerland , Xhavit BAJRAMI called the Gentlemen, defend his World title in Muay Thai + 96,5 Kg on November 21st . He won the title on June 27th in Sursee, SUI vs. the US boy Mike SHEPPARD. Xhavit is a real Champion, training now and prepare in the Netherlands.
The challenger is K-1 fighter Freddy KEMAYO from France.
He beat already top fighters like the Russian Sergei GUR KO 2, or the strong Romanian Catalin MOROSANU KO 1 and others.
Official Kosovo TV channel RTK will broad cast that event, 3.000 tickets are already sold.

Augsburg, Germany; Davut SIDAL was promoting with main sponsor Mr. Peter PRINZING a international top class event. Four TV channels covered the show and the rumour says Euro sport will broadcast that event in the next days too.
Fighters from Russia, I.R. Iran, Germany, France and Turkey showed a very good and high class performance.
Beside the fighters they had many ISKA VIP guests among 1.500 others in the sport hall. Dr. Ahmed MOINSHIRAZI / president ISKA ASIA, Fritz EXENBERGER / president ISKA EUROPE, Dimitri Alexeyevich IVANOV from Moscow , vice president of ISKA EUROPE federation. Also Chris SPARKES from ISKA WALES and his british friends watched the show. Thiery MUCCINI from Bordeaux, Winfried RAITHEL / chairman ISKA technical committee and so on …
Two main fights on the fight card. European title in full contact French Champion Nabil MAJOUBI vs. the native Uganda citizen but since more than 10 Years German fighter Abubaker Kabunga. After tough 12 x 2 min. of fighting the judges made a point decision for the home town boy and new European Champion.
From City of Ryazan in Russia top class fighter with K-1 max experience Jaroslav BESRJADIN challenged for the vacant World title – 75 Kg in Oriental rules vs. Tevfik SUCU from Turkey. Everybody in the hall saw the Russian fighter as favourite before the fight starts. But Sucu had a good start and from the beginning he had Besrjadin under pressure. In the second round Sucu hit the Russian with a sweet high kick and won this round after a standing count 10:8. After a really good fight the audience saw a happy Turkish team taking the belt from the main sponsor Mr. Peter PRINZING.
Next big event in Germany is in the Bavarian town Reichartshofen on December 5th. Promoter Judith LINTOW – charming wife of multiple World Champion Jens LINTOW – promote the World title with current European Champion Johannes WOLF. Second World title fight is German three times World Champion Dominik HASELBECK vs. the Irish Superstar Tommy McCAFFERTY.
And the Austrian former World Champion Thorsten SPRINGER still wants the re-match with Haselbeck, to have a clear decision, after the miss match last time in spring. Don´t miss the event, more …

Augsburg, Germany; with immediate effect Mr. Winfried RAITHEL , member of ISKA GERMANY, became new chairman of the ISKA EUROPE technical committee for events. Mr. “Winni ” is active in sport business since long time and very experienced in organising huge events. His deputy is Mr. Thierry MUCCINI from France. The first step is to build a strong team to run the upcoming World Champion ships in Almeria.

Dr. Samer Halimeh, official ISKA representative for Syria has been appointed by the Syrian government as Regional Director for their National Kickboxing Federation. Dr. Halimeh is also a candidate for the Presidency election for the entire Kickboxing federation of Syria scheduled to be held in December of this year.
The ISKA is very proud of our good friend Samer and wish him all the best.
