The Portuguese arena completed the 2009 year with a great sport event on December 6th and commemorate his 5th anniversary with another ISKA national title.
With 1500 persons in is sport hall, Portuguese ISKA federation prove too all its great success in this 1st year and promise for 2010 with much more success
In the main event, Bruno SUSANO (ISKA European champion in Rome) wins by points vs. Silverio RAMOS to the ORIENTAL RULES (K-1) – 84,60 Kg professional national title. In a great and spectacular fight, Susano prove all his quality and let all the audience vibrate
with his offensive and tremendous aggressive kicks, complete with good boxing combinations.
Ramos fought brave like a warrior but he can’t change the fight and a great moment for the best Portuguese kick boxer Bruno Susano closed his year with k1, full contact and low kicks national titles and the gold medal in the European championship 2009 in Rome.
Another great fight was between Jorge Silva (ISKA European champion in Rome) – 75 Kg and the national Muay Thai champion Tiago Portugal in ORIENTAL RULES (K-1) rules.
Silvas opponent Tiago has great experience in boxing and Tiago trying to attack with knees, the 1st round are evened. In the second Silva, start with low kicks and knees and the fight got spectacular moments with two fighters try to win. After the closed fight the referee made a decision for Jorge Silva .
In MMA rules Marcus SANTOS (Brazilian Top Team fighter and arena instructor) won by submission after 3:25 minutes in the 1st round . Joao DUARTE (Portuguese Muay Thai champion and submission vice champion). Marcus Santos is one of the best fighter at this time in Portugal and try to get a fight for the national Portuguese MMA title. Marcus started the match very strong with his punch and kicks and shortly he finished Duarte.
In another MMA fight Luis PINHO win by points vs. Mauro AMARALl after three rounds by referee decision

In a close corporation between ISKA IRAN & ISKA UKRAINE, Iran hosted the first ever Women MMA Seminar in Middle East.
The Young & attractive ISKA World champion Olena Ovchynnikova of Ukraine conducted the first Women MMA seminar in the Middle East.There were 3 seminars set in Iran’s capital & city of Mashad the 2nd largest city of the country. Many young female fighters attended the seminars & enjoyed their training with the ISKA world champion.
“I am very surprised to see female fighters in Iran & I have found some amazing talents who even could appear in professional events” said Mr. Lazurko the director of ISKA CIS and president of ISKA UKRAINE & the manager of Union gym promotion.
Olena Ovchynninkova who was interviewed by the Iranian national TV, expressed her happiness about being among female fighters in Asia & sharing her experiences with them. MMA interests are growing all around the world & ISKA STRIKE FORCE plays a major role in the Mix Martial Arts international scene.
