Russian tower of power: Anatoly Nosyrev – absolute world kickboxing champion among professionals

Posted by Office on 31st January 2010

In Europe he is often called a “Russian tower”, in Russia – “Voivoda” (army general). His way to success was not easy but it makes his victories – not only in sports but also in life – even more valuable. A. Nosyrev is an absolute world kickboxing champion in all existing versions – ISKA, WAKO-PRO, WKN, WKA, WBKF, W5. These victories have been achieved within only 2 years. Nobody has done it before. What is the secret of the Russian sportsman? Where is a source of his inexhaustible power?

Anatoly Nosyrev was born in 1977 in a small town Novocherkassk in the south of Russia. In the childhood he was a weak, thin and shy boy. At the age of 7 he went into judo and after 1 year he took boxing lessons from his father Gennady Nosyrev – famous trainer in the town. The father and the son love to remember what a hard job was it for Anatoly to fight with older opponents because of his height. The results appeared very soon – at the age of 17 Anatoly became master of sports and then he won one championship after another. At the same time Nosyrev made a big progress in his education – he finished secondary school with honors and after several years he got 2 diplomas of high education.

In 2001 Anatoly went in for kickboxing. Within 4 years he became a seven-time Russian champion. Russian championship is a unique phenomenon. The strongest fighters from all corners of Russia take part in it. The Russians joke that to win a Russian championship is much more difficult than to win a World championship.

In 2007 Nosyrev won a title of WBKF world champion (+93 kg, full-contact). His opponent was a European champion Martin Berka from Czech Republic. In the 9th round Anatoly sent his opponent into knock-out. Later in the same year Anatoly got 2 more world champion titles – ISKA and WKA. First he defeated American fighter Kelly Leo. The fight was quite difficult for the Russian sportsman but firm belief in his victory as well as support of fans helped him to win ISKA belt. Victory over Portuguese fighter Vitor Matos for WKA title brought Anatoly one step closer to his ambitious aim – to become an absolute world champion.

Anatoly began to actively train for the next title which was scheduled for 23d of February, 2008. It was the fight for the title of W5 champion (Russian version). Several days before the fight a tragic event happened in his family – his wife Elena Sabitova, seven-time Russian and World boxing champion died. Everyone was sure that Anatoly would reject to fight. But he decided to devote this fight to the memory of his wife. Those who saw that fight later said that Anatoly was fighting “for two”. His opponent Leonardo Comcic from Croatia simply didn’t have a chance to win!

In May 2009 Anatoly won the last belt – WAKO-Pro. This victory turned a Russian sportsman into a legend of world kickboxing. Nobody managed to win all world champion belts in such a short period of time – neither in Russia, nor in the whole world!

Anatoly says that the main secret of his success is first of all strength of will and desire to win. Every time he steps on the ring he “simply does his job”, works hard and doesn’t lose his self-control. Chief trainer of Russian Kickboxing Federation Vadim Ukraintsev adds: “Nosyrev is our pride. He is our “voivode”, symbol of Russian power and Russian character”.

NIGHT OF THE 8 III, BETTER THAN EXPECTED

Posted by Office on 25th January 2010

Night of the 8 III was way more exiting than it was expected by the audiences. An outstanding 8 Men Tournament in the weight category of -71 kg under ISKA oriental Rules.

They were all the best that Iran had to offer in -71kg & it turned to be an unbelievable night for all who attended the show.

Due to an excellent match making done by Shihan Najafi (ISKA IRAN) the bouts were very close & the audiences witnessed a first class kickboxing gala by all the meaning.

All of the fighters gave their best & there were Hamid Mohammad Poor a K-1 max Veteran & Saeed Chardoli who made it through the final. Saeed Chardoli had relatively easier since he finished both his pre finals by KO & he had picked up less injuries, unlikely Hamid Mohammad poor who had to fight his way to the final through 2 pre final fights each with 1 extra round.

At the end of the night it was Saeed Chardoli who took the crown after 3 hard rounds of fighting plus 10,000,000 Rls Price Money.

Night of the 8 is a series of VIP galas promoted by ISKA IRAN & ISKA ASIA. According to the local rules in Iran, Professional fights are not allowed & therefore all the fighters in these events are forced to use head guards, although they follow the professional rules during the fights.

ISKA ASIA Team wished that you were all there to enjoy this very event.

CLAN WARS 3

Posted by Office on 25th January 2010

It’s back…the critically acclaimed Irish MMA event of the year and the one we have all been looking forward to. If you missed CLAN WARS 2 then you really need to get yourself along to this one……yes you guessed it CLAN WARS 3 is back in town.

only this time it’s even bigger and better than before and that is saying something. Believe me these guys really bust a gut to put on a show. They have raised the standard on MMA events to promote it in a positive professional manner for all to enjoy and get away from the uneducated reports with old stereotypes and the unfair press that MMA receives.

They are bringing the show back to the newly refurbished state of the art nightclub Sense at the Glenavon House Hotel,Cookstown on the 12th February 2010. The promoters have also expanded the quality of the show flying in a professional filming crew with 4 a camera shoot with pro fights aired on the LA muscle channel on sky (281) television, flying over a professional sports photography team, introduced international bouts and have secured some big sponsors such as Caged Steel, Completegymsnutrition.com and Ultimat Impact specialists to name a few.

Now to the actual show. The main events will see the semi-finals for the ISKA MMA Welterweight Pro Title shot (77kg) – the semi-finalists are John Donnelly from Ryano Gym Dublin, Mark Gibson from Elite 400 Craigavon, Mervyn Muholland from Juku Ryu Ju Jitsu Larne and Michael Reid from Gracie Barra Belfast. The Irish Titles that will be fought for are world recognised official titles from a world renowned Martial Arts body the ISKA….The first official Pro Fighter MMA sanctioned event in Ireland

Clan Wars 3 will also see a long awaited 70kg Pro re-match between Darren Hughes from Sudden Impact under the coaching of Emmet McNally and Alan Hannon from Combat Sports Centre under the coaching from Ger Healy – the first time these guys met it was a draw so this promises to be a great rematch with both fighters eager to get the win!

Also on the card we have Joe Frey from IFS.NI under the coaching of IFS coaches Paul Mc Laughlin and Colin Dunn against Ryan Martin from IMMA Ballymena under the coaching of Rodney Moore for the ISKA Irish Featherweight amateur Title. This will prove a tough fight for these two amateur fighters and begin the amateur Irish ISKA Title series.

Clan Wars 3 promises to be one of the top MMA events of the year so don’t miss the chance to be there, your ticket will get you entry to the new nightclub SENSE for the late night after party
